ChurchKeeper
What it is
ChurchKeeper is one program for the work a church already does: the membership records, the offering, the schedules, the bulletin, the sermon archive, and getting the service to everyone who could not be there. It is built so the treasurer, the secretary, and the pastor can keep doing things the way the church does them — just with less retyping and fewer lost pieces.
Who we are
ChurchKeeper is built and supported by the Zimmerman family in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Keith attends Lincoln Mennonite Church. When Lincoln went looking for church software, nothing on the market fit the way a conservative Anabaptist congregation actually runs: offerings counted as a batch, host-family and cleaning schedules, elected roles with terms, Sunday School teacher slates, and a phone line for members who don't use the internet. Keith had spent years building software, so he built what Lincoln needed, with Lincoln as the first church to use it. His sons Karson and Kaleb have since joined him to bring ChurchKeeper to other congregations and to answer when a church needs help.
We are a small family effort and we plan to keep it that way. Tell us what would make ChurchKeeper more useful for your church: an idea, a missing feature, or something that doesn't work the way you expected. Feedback from the churches using it is how the program grows.
